Workplace Giving (or Payroll Giving) allows employees to donate to The One Box regularly through their employer’s payroll system. It is one of the most efficient ways to support our charity, while also providing benefits to employers and staff who choose to give from their pay.

We know that there is significant need for our fresh food relief program across Australia and with a regular donation, we can help meet more of that demand.

For example, $60 per month can support one family weekly with 40 boxes for the year.

Your donation is deducted from your pre-tax salary and as the tax is calculated each pay minus the donation, this means you pay less tax resulting in a greater donation towards The One Box. You can even encourage others at your workplace to join and ask your employer to match your donation which could double your impact. It’s easy to keep track of your impact as your donation will appear on your payslip which also means that there is no need to make a claim at tax time.

By enabling your employees to make regular donations directly from their pre-tax pay, staff are empowered to support causes that are close to their hearts. And organisations with workplace giving programs have the potential to boost employee engagement, retention and productivity as well as demonstrate their commitment to their corporate social responsibility values.
